Install Mac Updates Selectively

Apple does a good job of keeping our Mac up to date with their Auto Update System. However, for compatibility reasons I have never allowed my Mac to update automatically preferring to do it manually when I think the time is right. There is a way to selectively install certain updates leaving others uninstalled until you are ready. This article explains how to do that using the Software Update tool in System Preferences.
