Apple has issues Release Candidates for all of their operating systems. A Release Candidate (RC) is given to Developers just before officially releasing the final version of an OS. I have installed the RC for macOS Monterey 12.4 on my test drive. It seems to work great. It is very snappy and responsive, which is always good. I am sure the final of 12.4 will be available soon.
