With the plethora of iPhones available no the market these days, it can be confusing when it comes to Resetting or Shutting Down the phone. Some older phones have a Home Button, newer phones use Swipe Gestures and so on. If you don’t Shut Down (Restart ?) you’re iPhone once in a while you should at least consider it. If you need to Shut Down your iPhone there is a very easy way to do it.
iPhone Shut Down
There are all kinds of ways to Shut Down your iPhone using hardware buttons, depending on your model. However, there is a much easier way. Just go into the Settings area:
Once inside Settings Tap on General:
Once in the General area scroll down to the Shut Down command:
You will see the Shut Down slide button, just slide it over and your iPhone is off:
Shutting down your iPhone is really easy to do. I don’t think you need to shut your iPhone down on a regular basis, but I have gotten certain wonky behavior to correct itself with a Shut Down once in a while.
