Spotlight Noindex

The Spotlight App indexes your Mac to create a directory of everything that is there. That way when it searches it can find stuff. However, some things may not have to be indexed. For example, I told Spotlight to not index some of my external hard drives. You may have other things that do not need to be indexed. This article explains how to remove files, folders, and external storage from Spotlight indexing.
